The Dance Boss Academy was created to help dancers learn how to take care of themselves, emotionally, mentally and physically through deep personal development and mindset work, Yoga, Pilates and Stretching classes and mindful meditation.

 

The DBA has got everything a dancer needs to thrive inside the industry and out.

We believe in giving dancers the tools that will help them take care of themselves so they can excel at what they do and make their dance career span many decades.

It is our mission to help dancers feel confident and empowered to take on the industry and whatever life throws at them with a positive mindset, daily self care habit and an abundance of self belief and self love, so they can achieve their goals and be happy and healthy whilst doing this.

Clearing out the clutter is not only about sorting through material things; it's also about clearing any blocks or negative beliefs you hold inside your mind about yourself and your life, so that you can move forward with a positive step and get the results you want for your life as a dancer.

Goal Getter aims to bring you some clarity, inspiration and excitement as you get really clear about what it is you want for your life and career as a dancer. In this section, you get to dream as big as you want and visualise your best self in a future of your making!

The Dance Boss Academy self study course has over 100 fillable pages (on desktop/laptop) jam packed with personal development work created especially for dancers. You can also choose to print it out and put pen to paper or use a journal to record your thoughts.

 

Emily has fused her personal experience and many years studying personal growth and development, as well as her knowledge as an NLP Practitioner to create something she feels every dancer will benefit from.

Q: When can I start and how long do I have to complete The Dance Boss Academy?

A: You can begin as soon as you make your purchase! As the whole course is self study, you can choose your own timeframe for completion. However, it is highly recommended that you keep momentum going once you've started, to get the most out of it and the self study course is sectioned into 7 modules to help you chunk things down.

Q: What if I don’t have time in the week?

A: The course is self study, so you get to choose what days/times you take part in it :)

Q: I dance full time, can I still take the course?

A: The flexibility of self study allows you to fit the course around your daily life and dance schedule.

Q: I’m not a professional dancer, can I still take the course?

A: Definitely! The Dance Boss Academy is aimed at dancers, teachers, choreographers and those training/working in the dance industry, however, if you are an amateur dancer this course will still be beneficial, as the tips, tools and content are applicable to all.

Q: What exactly will I get out of The Dance Boss Academy?

A: The Dance Boss Academy is filled with tips, tools and content to help dancers feel mentally strong by creating a positive mindset, learning how to re-frame beliefs and learn about how to take back control of your own reality by choosing different thoughts and beliefs. It is also designed to help dancers go deep within for self reflection, gain clarity about their goals and dreams and become the person necessary to achieve them. As well as this, it also provides classes in Yoga, meditation and Pilates to help dancers gain a new holistic view on how to move and feel in their body and mind. The DBA includes deep and powerful work that will require an open mind and dedication to the work.

Q: What if it doesn’t work for me?

A: The Dance Boss Academy provides everything we believe a dancer needs to gain insight into how to thrive emotionally, physically and mentally alongside their technical training. The course requires dedication and commitment in order for you to gain any benefit from it. We fully believe that the content inside can be 100% transformative, but only if you put in the time and effort to meet it halfway. 

Q: Do I get access to everything straight away?

A: Upon purchase, you will be able to download the self study course and also receive an email with a link to get access to the full course page, so you can begin straight away! Either fill out the self study course on a desktop/laptop, print it out and put pen to paper or use a journal to write down your thoughts. It is recommended that you save the email/course page on your bookmarks so you can easily find it again.
